At around 9 months old, this former street girl is healing beautifully from her past and adjusting to indoor life like a pro. But don’t let her elegance fool you—she’s got just the right amount of attitude to keep everyone in check!

😼 Sassy & Sweet: Isla has perfected the art of the skibbity pap and teenager eye roll. While her street instincts still show, her swats are getting gentler by the day as she realizes that the indoor life isn’t so bad after all. Within a week she's shown so much growth and getting so good with her foster mom and young daughter. When her foster sister is away at school, she loves to follow her foster momma wherever she goes. We are confident she will be as sweet as pie at this rate by the time she goes home.

🎭 Too Cool… But Not Really: She may act like a typical teenage girl—annoyed with everyone—but she still curls up for naps with her 5-year-old foster sister, proving that deep down, she’s got a soft side.
